According to OTTPlay, the comedy drama will premiere on Netflix next week. While the date is yet to be announced, there is a possibility of it landing on the platform on Friday (September 26).

Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira is a comedy drama directed by Althaf Salim. The film centres on Abby, a groom who faces rejection at his own wedding. He then meets a shy woman who needs help and develops a bond with her. The two heal together and gear up to begin a new chapter in life. Things, however, take a surprising turn when his ex comes back into his life.

Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthir features Fahadh Faasil in the lead. The actor is best known for his work in films such as CU Soon, Aavesham, Take Off, and Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum. He is joined by Kalyani. The young star emerged as a household name with Lokah Chapter 1, which hit the screens on August 28. Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthir also features Revathi Pillai, Dhyan Sreenivasan, and Vinay Forrt. The music is composed by Justin Varghese.

Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthir received underwhelming reviews. The Times of India gave it 1.5 stars out of 5 and criticised the character development.

“The singular most upsetting thing is that every single character, including the female lead, seems to be written in with a mental disorder, without explanation. Anyway, after some more romantic confusions, the film ends, without really elevating itself at any point,” read a part of the review.
The dull word-of-mouth affected the film and it underperformed at the box office. According to Sacnilk, a trade website, It earned merely Rs 1.91 crore (nett) in India and sank without a trace.
