"Black, neutrals, oversized...it just feels real"

Talking about the current style preferences, Ridhi pointed out how understated fashion choices have become a quite yet but powerful statement in itself.

Let's be honest here, Gen Z has time and again proved how relaxed silhouettes have become a defining of their style, often opting for oversized T-shirt that reflect comfort-first dressing while still making a quite fashion statement.

And it seems that this comfort-driven aesthetic resonates with Ridhi as well. Expressing her appreciation for the trend, she added, "They keep everything minimalistic and basic and I love it. I love oversized clothes. I love loose clothes. So thank you Gen Z for getting all these things which look like you're not really dressed up but you are dressed up. I love Gen Z fashion."

Minimalism is the real luxury?

When everything feels too loud, keeping it simple hits different.

During the conversation, The Sabarmati Report actress opened up about her everyday lifestyle choices, sharing how discipline and minimalism quietly shape her everyday routine.

Moving away from glamour and into the everyday, she spoke about her mindful approach to food and balance in life. Dogra revealed, "I don’t eat after sunset. I had a very simple dinner - soup, salad, and some vegetables. It sounds boring, but I actually enjoy that simplicity."

She further added that for her, the idea of balance goes beyond routine, it’s about finding comfort in consistency. "Everything doesn’t need to be extravagant. There’s beauty in keeping things simple and consistent."

From soup, salad to Khadi: keeping it real and rooted

A standout moment of the evening came through Ridhi Dogra's unique Khadi ensemble, where traditional Indian textile was reimagined into a look that felt quietly distinctive and effortlessly different from the rest of evening's contemporary styles.

She highlighted how modern style fashion continues to blend with cultural roots, especially through Indian textiles like Khadi, which she chose to wear for the occasion, an off-shoulder Abhla Bharat embroidery blouse and a plain beige khadi saree.

"I purposely went for something like this because I thought India conclave so we should appreciate and bring out you know the textiles and the and the various fabrics that we have. I think that's what we should all promote and we should all go in for and the Gen Z's should know about it and I think they do," she expressed.
