In earlier testimony during a Ways and Means House Committee field hearing, she shared that she had worked across multiple industries before choosing delivery driving as a flexible way to earn income on her own terms.



During her appearance at the White House, Sharon Simmons also spoke personally about her husband, Leo, sharing that the couple has been married for six years and together following his recent completion of treatments.
